PHOTOSHOOT
I carried out some photoshoot's for my ancillary tasks, these consisted as on site shooting whilst filming commenced.
I did four photoshoots, one in frensham of the cast and smoke bomb, an ink shoot, a studio shoot and some lava lamp pictures.
I annotated these to pick out the best images and the ones i will proceed to edit.
The best photographs from the frensham shoot included the smoke bomb images and the pictures of the 'yellow' couple.
These images whilst being binary opposites in colour help to show the narrative, from the offset if on the digipak. therefore due to this polar opposite nature I plan to put them on the front and back of the digipak, as well as the focal images for my posters.
Regarding my lava lamp and ink shoots, these were planned to be 'filler' shoots, for example to fill the inside pages of the digipak, which through my research i have learnt usually consist of less distracting images, as named 'filler images'.
Therefore through the shoots, I have found a couple of strong images that i will be using for these purposes, I plan to heavily edit the lava lamp images due to their dull nature.
The last shoot whilst compositionally the strongest, I believe was not appropriate for digipak and poster purposes as it looks too much like a video convention rather than a still image convention.
