Here we can see that the target audience for the indie/alternative genre is quite a wide one, with many walks of life, but we can make a few stereotypes here through profiling, we learn that all three members of my target audience are young people therefore I will base my product for young people, we can also learn that each member is a creative type from dance, photography to art, each member can appreciate independancy and likes the concept of new/fresh ideas. We can also learn that as a rough guess the audience likes to be informed through tv or fidning out new experiences, we can see this through their travelling habits and political intrigue. therefore this supports that my text should continue to be as planned a informative one (uses and gratifications theory) pushing a message that I would like to convey around sexuality stereotypes being subverted. I believe also that my media products could offer a sense of escapsim in the form of utopian solution (richard dyer) and clarity for those who struggle with the pressure of confused regarding their sexuality.

I conducted some later research after i finished my product into what the audience believed an individual who would want to watch this would be like (target audience) and the results can be found on my audience feedback: General page
