Introduction to and Initial Thoughts on Preliminary Task

My initial thoughts on the prelim task were very empty but as the different aspects were explained I started to understand and appreciate it more! I started to form the opinion that it would be a great way to practise for the real magazine. i started to think about the target audience, being people of a college age (similar to me) which is more than likely going to be 16-18 year olds. i then considered the layout and decided i should make it simplistic as this would appeal to my target audience more. i thought i should use a bold colour on the writing to make it more eye catching and draw readers in more.

It was nice to try a trial photoshoot and use photoshop in my cover to add to the eye catching factor of it by using 1 single photo on the whole cover to again show this simplistic style to it.
