Institutions
Bauer Media Group
Bauer Media Group is a European-based media company, first founded in 1875, headquartered in Germany that manages more than 600 magazines, over 400 digital products and 50 radio and TV stations, its current CEO is Yvonne Bauer (Nov 2010–). This is relevant to my work as it manages two of the publications i have used to research magazines similar to mine Q and Kerrang!, and other notable magazines.
Time Inc
Time Inc is a New York-based publishing company, It publishes 90+ magazine brands, most notably its very own TIME. It was founded late 1922 by Henry Luce and Briton Hadden and is currently CEO'd by Joseph A Ripp (Sep 2013–). Time inc not only has a us base but a uk offshoot along with other important offshoot areas such as myspace, the relevance of this institution is it owns and publishes the magazine NME, a rock magazine i have analysed.
There is other publishers such as "team rock" but i couldn't find enough information about them.
From doing further research into the magazines details such as circulation figures and publishing institutions, I have concluded that if was "to publish" my magazine i would publish it under Bauer Media Group, This is numerous reasons but they target my target audience the most effectively and i believe my magazine would fit in here.
What can you learn from this research?
How might this be similar or different to your magazine?

Here are a couple more magazine's i have researched in the past's abc reports, but i feel i would not go into depth with them as i have selected the most important magazines i feel.
